Pella retools for new production, new jobs

PELLA, Iowa—Pella Corporation is planning a project to retool its manufacturing facility in Pella in order to produce products in the company’s Insynctive brand product line.

Pella Corporation is a family-owned company that manufactures windows and doors for new construction, remodeling and replacement applications for home and commercial markets.

The Iowa Economic Development Authority awarded Pella $152,000 in direct financial assistance as well as tax benefits through HQJP for this $3.4 million capital investment.  The project is expected to create 38 incented jobs at a qualifying hourly wage of $18.62.
