Ventech brings 200 new jobs to Urbandale

URBANDALE, Iowa–Ventech Solutions, Inc. plans to open an office in Urbandale and create at least 200 jobs. The office will supply help desk support for users of Ventech software systems and house an application development team.

Based in Columbus, Ohio, Ventech specializes in software systems for government agencies. The company recently won a $400 million contract providing a data management system for Centers for Medicare and Medicaid.

The Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) recently awarded Ventech a total of $500,000 in forgivable loans under the state High Quality Jobs Program. Under the terms of the award, Vantech will create 200 jobs, of which 75 will pay a qualifying wage of $25.52 an hour, according to a news release from IEDA.
