American Packaging to expand in Story City

STORY CITY, Iowa — American Packaging Corporation (APC) will expand its facility and add two new printing presses, a triplex laminator and ancillary equipment in Story City, a project that will create 94 permanent jobs.

APC is an integrated, flexible packaging converter specializing in flexographic and rotogravure printing, multi-ply extrusion and adhesive lamination of film, paper and foil. The company expects to invest $44 million in the expansion, giving the facility additional capacity to enable growth.
