Xpanxion plans expansion in Ames

AMES, Iowa – Xpanxion, a software services company, plans to invest $360,000 to expand its training, research and development labs, and equip these areas with additional software, hardware and network infrastructure.

Xpanxion provides software development, testing and consulting services to Fortune 1000 companies through an integrated rural and offshore sourcing model. In addition to Ames, Xpanxion maintains offices in Lincoln, Nebraska; Alpharetta, Georgia; Manhattan, Kansas; Fort Collins, Colorado; and Pune, India. The company was recently acquired by UST Global.

The Iowa Economic Development Authority awarded Xpanxion awarded direct financial assistance of $180,000 through the High Quality Jobs Program to create 45 jobs at a qualifying wage of $23.21 per hour.
