Rite-Hite expanding operations, creating 24 new jobs in Dubuque
DUBUQUE, Iowa — Dubuque-based Frommelt Industries was one of the first businesses to build and relocate in the Dubuque Industrial Center. Then, in 1991, Milwaukee-based Rite-Hite acquired Frommelt Industries, significantly broadening its offerings to include industrial power doors, cold storage doors, impact doors, dock seals and shelters, and a full complement of after market products.
Today, Rite-Hite employs 270 people at their Dubuque operation.
Rite-Hite’s proposed expansion includes a total capital investment of $8,920,446 and the creation of 24 new, high-quality jobs in Dubuque. The proposed expansion will include 138,000 square feet of new production space, a partial remodel of offices, and approximately $420,000 for new machinery and equipment. The proposed project will improve productivity and operational efficiencies, as well as expand research and development capabilities.
