Jeannie Oliver is a writer and PR practitioner with a long string of awards behind her name. With a degree in journalism from the University of Oklahoma, Jeannie has worked as a high school journalism teacher, an editor for the Appaloosa Journal, and a media spokesperson for the Oklahoma Education Association during a statewide teachers strike. She has created work for corporations and non-profits as diverse as Seagate, INTEGRIS Mental Health, Ballet Oklahoma and Dale Rogers Training Center. With a bungalow in the historic Mesta Park area of Oklahoma City, Jeannie divides her time between writing and rehabbing an old house. When she’s not mowing or painting or seeing to plumbing repairs, she can be seen in the neighborhood walking her well-known spotted rat terrier Dotty. She has three grown children–two daughters in Brentwood, Tennessee, and a son in Oklahoma City—and one adolescent granddaughter.
